Intelligent Storage Solution for Ford Thailand

Project Background

In response to Ford Thailand’s needs, ZhengzhouDuoyuan Vehicle Equipment Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Duoyuan “) has tailored an intelligent vertical storage system for the storage and management of Ford bumpers. This project aims to achieve rationalized warehouse height, automated storage and retrieval, simplified operations, and intelligent management through smart warehousing equipment, thereby significantly enhancing warehouse operational efficiency and management level.

Features of Intelligent Vertical Warehousing

1. Rationalization:
   The intelligent vertical warehouse adopts high-rise racks and three-dimensional storage design, making more effective use of land and space resources, significantly improving warehouse space utilization.
2. Safety:
   The circulation and storage of materials rely on pallets or containers, increasing material safety and reducing material loss and damage.
3. Intelligence:
   The storage locations in the intelligent vertical warehouse are centrally managed by the Warehouse Management System (WMS), which provides intelligent control over the entire operation process. In addition to superior storage capacity compared to traditional warehouses, it also features sorting and inventory functions, making warehouse management more straightforward and clear.

Hardware of Intelligent Vertical Warehousing

The intelligent vertical storage system mainly consists of storage units, material transfer units, and auxiliary facility units:

• Storage Unit:
  Primarily refers to storage racks, which are constructed of steel or reinforced concrete structures, with standard-sized storage spaces inside for storing cargo units.
• Automated Vertical Warehouse:
  Mainly consists of racks, aisle stacker cranes (stacker cranes), inbound (outbound) workstations, dispatch control systems, and management systems.
