Dump Truck welding line project

 

The Dump Truck Assembly Line is located at Baoluo Automobile Technology Co., Ltd. in Yuci District, Jinzhong City, Shanxi Province. This line is dedicated to the welding of dump truck bodies. The assembly line consists of side panel welding line, floor welding line, front and rear panel welding line, sub-frame welding line, and box assembly line. The production line uses an electric conveyor system to achieve automated transport, reducing the use of cranes and improving production efficiency.

Key Equipment and Technology

 

  1. Welding Workstations:

   – Front and Rear Panel Welding Workstation**: Equipped with two arc welding robots.

   – Left and Right Side Panel Welding Workstation**: Equipped with four arc welding robots.

   – These workstations all utilize DUOYUAN’s independently developed robotic welding system, which is easy to operate. A single ordinary worker can replace multiple skilled welders, thereby reducing labor costs.

  1. Welding System:

   – The system employs advanced technologies such as laser tracking and offline programming. The laser tracking system features automatic welding path planning, tracking system, automatic collision avoidance, crater filling, sample welding, fault self-diagnosis, and full digital welding process control.

   – The offline programming system operates in a 3D graphical environment with a user-friendly interface. It allows welding paths to be generated through “virtual teaching” or CAD files, greatly improving programming efficiency and reducing the workload of programmers.

  1. Box Assembly Line:

   – Utilizes independently developed box assembly equipment, achieving high-precision positioning and compatibility with different vehicle specifications.

   – The large box assembly and welding equipment adopts an inverted installation and positioning method, facilitating worker operations and automated transport. The equipment is designed with numerical control parameters, supporting vehicle parameter storage and automatic adjustment, capable of storing data for 500 vehicle models with a model change time of less than 5 minutes.

   – The equipment includes a central frame, left and right trusses, positioning mechanisms, adjustment mechanisms, hydraulic system, numerical control positioning system, electrical control system, work platform, and ladders, ensuring accurate positioning of the floor and side panels to weld qualified box dimensions.
